We had a lovely long weekend retreat, made even better with the sun shining! Overall the Shepherd's Hut was fabulous. Very relaxing for anyone wanting to get away from hectic lives. Hot top was a wonderful and we slept better in the Shepherds Hut than we do at home. Bruce (the dog) had a fantastic time and explored the different fields every day.

The enclosed garden, was wonderful for the dog. The cottage was clean and peaceful. The spa pool was a great facility. There was access to lovely walks over the farm with the dog.

A lovely, well equipped cottage. Ideal for an escape. The hot tub is perfect to relax, unwind and totally chill in. The Shepherd's hut is lovely and cosy with a really comfortable bed.

Lovely setting. Peaceful, idyllic. Theres not a sound to be heard barring some farm animals. If you dont want to see another human being you can really isolate yourself here, in the fully enclosed property. Well equipped kitchen/lounge and the hot tub is huge. Had a wonderful stay. Weather very hit & miss, the property more than made up for this. Bed was super comfy, hot tub was fab! Spent a week in this beautiful lodge. The living area is a good size with 2 toilets and a shower room around the back. The bedroom is in a nice size Shepard Hut and was very cozy. Nice views of fields and its down a lane away from any through roads. Lovey warm hot tub and a massive cooker and kitchen table. We had a lovely stay at Lower Chapeltown. It was such a relaxing stay in a beautiful rural escape. The shepherds hut was so comfortable and cosy and the lodge ideal for relaxing. We loved the hot tub too. I would recommend staying here especially if you take a dog as its secure. We will definitely be back.

Had a lovely relaxing holiday at this quirky property. The garden was dog friendly and secure. My blind dog had a fab time in the garden. Shepherds hut was cosy and a very comfortable bed. Property and the hot tub was very clean. Dont forget your torch , needed for trips to and from the shepherds hut. Some TLC required

Great property - well appointed in a beautiful countryside location. A real getaway with dark skies for star gazing and space to potter about with the dogs. We loved our stay and look forward to returning. The photos do not do justice to how spacious and roomy the cabin is.

If you are looking for a rustic, middle of nowhere holiday then this is the place for you. A little basic in style and needs a couple of updates. Dont forget your torch for midnight trips to the toilet!

We stayed here for a week and fell in love with the place. As soon as we entered through the gate felt instantly grounded and connected to nature.
