The glorious North Pennines are nearby, offering stunning landscapes, heather-covered moors, rugged peat lands and magical hay meadows, making them a perfect destination for walkers, cyclists and mountain bikers. Staying on the farm, guests can explore the farmland and see the farm animals including cattle and sheep. There are 100 acres of farmland to explore, including a nature trail, playing field, riverside paths, ancient monument and a medieval moat.
