The cottage comfortably accommodates 6 adults and 3 children. The 2 lounges give everyone space to do their own thing. The bedrooms are large with comfortable beds. Kitchen/utility had everything we needed. There are 2 local shops and a bakery nearby which we used. Also supermarkets, pubs within 5 mins drive. Well placed for major roads, airport anRead mored metro. Good access for Newcastle, Beamish museum, Durham, Alnwick Gardens/castle and beaches. Backworth Hall golf, archery. Hide

This is a very well equipped house with good proportions. Worked really well for us as a group of nine. Very easy to get onto main roads in the area.

Sycamore Cottage was by far an amazing home to stay in. The house was immaculate, exceptionally clean, and well maintained. It is beautifully furnished, and the beds were very comfortable. There were 8 of us in our party and there was plenty of room for all of us. We really couldn't fault anything, and would definitely choose to stay again when we Read moreare in the area. Large, comfortable and modernised property in a village location. Only a few minutes drive to all local amenities, including park and ride Metro for Newcastle city centre. The hosts were very helpful and approachable.
