A stunning location and warm welcoming host in Amanda. The alpacas were so curious and werent bothered by our whippet who thought they were giant puppies :-) The hut has everything you need for a beautiful stay. Thanks again Amanda.

Really lovely time down south with my girlfriend for her 21st birthday, made all the more special as when we arrived at the lodge, it was decorated for her with some bubbly also. Can't say thank you enough!

Really cosy and lovely hut! Shame that it was wet and muddy (perks of going in the winter) however will definitely come back spring or summer so can use all the facilities. The Alpacas obviously were the highlight every morning.

Fantastic stay here! The host couldn't have been any more helpful. Super cosy, super clean, everything you could need for a little getaway! The scenery at nighttime is beautiful & quiet. Sitting in the hot tub and watching the sunset was just lovely! Will definitely be back!!

The location is a delight. The host is very accomodating and helpful. The cottage is on the small side but ever so cozy and well equipped. The hot tub was wonderful even when -4c outside, and the Alpaca's make for great companions to your early morning coffee.

We had a few days at the Alpaca Retreat and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break. Cost little hut but lacked nothing in amenities and comfort! Lovely host, Amanda, was on hand for any questions and help!

Wonderful relaxing & peaceful.Amanda was a lovely host & nothing was any trouble for her, she even called all the local pubs to see which one was open on the bank holiday Monday for us. The Alpacas were great, even my two Stafford's enjoyed there company .

We went to relax and recharge our batteries as it has been non stop since Christmas,and from we got there until we left that's what we did.it is such a beautiful place lots to do and if you just want to relax then enjoy the peace and tranquility. This is the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing and peaceful getaway. A soak in the hot tub at night watching the stars is made even better owing to the lack of light pollution. Amazing location, very relaxing and brilliant for the dogs as completely enclosed. The alpacas are wonderfully laid back. Beautiful shepherds hut, with lovely spec and nice to sit out on the decking. Amanda was lovely and couldnt do enough. Would definitely recommend and would go back.
