I totally loved that we could run around naked and no-one was around to see or care. We are both dab hands at fire lighting and you need to be as there is no power although the owners kindly do charge up a battery for you to use and supply v bright lamps. We loved our time here. We stayed for our mini moon and it was just magical. The outside bath was lush and star gazing from the hot tub was perfect. We would definitely recommend.

Really lovely stay and chance to go off grid. The range was easy to use, and the kitchen well equipped so practically it wasnt too difficult at all. I was there during a cold snap in January, but it was perfectly warm once the fire was going. I would recommend it without hesitation.

A romantic retreat. As long as you can build a fire with all the provided wood you will have the most amazing time. Total privacy. Will be a challenge for mobility issues because you have to cross stones over a small stream & steps to get to the compost loo at the top of the hill. A hot water tank that is heated by the wood burner which stays hot 1Read more2 hours. Enough water to have 2 baths in the outdoor tub. The bed is comfy. Access to a fridge & charger. Fire pit lovely. My husband and I loved our stay. It was just amazing! The perfect place for us to relax and spend some quality time together for our 22nd wedding anniversary. Totally off grid. We stargazed (me from the hot tub!) then I took a bath, fantastic experience! The whole weekend was magical. Will definitely have to visit again!

This place is amazing, super relaxing and romantic. If you're looking to unwind from modern life look no further. It's off-grid so you need to plan ahead but it's well worth the effort. What a lovely place very peaceful.. we had everything we needed for our stay bath outside was lovely and the hot tub looking up at the stars was an absolute dream would definately recommend it.

Quite possibly the most romantic cottage I have ever stayed in. Everything was just perfect from start to finish. The location is totally off grid and it felt like heaven to be away from reality for a weekend. A Magical stay.

Ty Bach is the perfect place to reset, recharge and relax in the stunning scenery of Wales. You quickly adapt to the rhythm of the cottage and living off grid, we have come home utterly in love with the Begwyns and beautiful Ty Bach. I don't think I have ever enjoyed a holiday as much.

The cottage is located on the owners farm but away in a corner in between trees so you really do feel completely private. We spent a weekend flitting between the jacuzzi and the sofa in front of the fire reading books and didnt leave the place at all. It was heaven. The compost loo certainly takes some getting used to (the breeze!!) but not too badRead more.
