We had a 3 night stay, which was everything we could have wished for & more. The Shepherds Hut was amazing, beautiful touches throughout & a very welcome afternoon tea with prosecco laid out for our arrival (which was most welcome after our 3 hr journey). A beautiful shepherds hut with a hottub and pizza oven outhouse. Only stayed for 2 nights but will definitely be heading back again.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful well kept shepards hut, a bottle of prosecco and fresh scones on arrival, a warm wood fired hot tub with fresh dressing gowns awaiting. Its a perfect cosy getaway, the scenery is gorgeous, with local walks and pubs around. An amazing weekend spent here for my wifes surprise birthday getaway. The loveliest little get away for our anniversary, only got to explore the first and second day as the heavens opened on the third, but we had a relaxing time just enjoying the hut itself. Definitely recommend getting some bikes and going up the tarka trail, next to the old station in torrington is a restaurant that serves amazing breakfast, and WeRead morestleigh inn does fancy pub grub (the hill up to it is a bit of a challenge on a bike) P.s definitely get carrots for the donkeys Hide

We had an amazing stay at Hembury Gate farm.The shepherds hut was stunning set in the most beautiful, tranquil place. The hosts are very welcoming and had prepared a lovely cream tea and bottle of bubbly for us to enjoy. We had everything we needed and enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after exploring the area. Well after deciding to go away for the week we had an idea of what the accommodation needs to have.. out of the way, hot tub and have bags of character. And boy this didnt let us down one bit!! The Shepherds Hut is truly a sanctuary of calm, coziness and tranquility. Beautiful views, sunset view from the hot-tub and all very private. Julie clearly loves hosting as all the little touches dont go unnoticed. We would definitely like to return!

Stayed in the shepherds hut for 4 night as a long weekend to shut off and it was perfect couldnt recommend it enough. Beautiful views from the garden area and hot tub, completely shut off from the world if you want to be and the only noise you can hear is the birds singing away. Such an amazing place. We were looking for some privacy and nice surroundings which we got. So cute and quirky! Would recommend to anyone. Host was very nice and responded whenever I text. All over brilliant stay.
