Really lovely place, very nicely done, so cosy and warm in the windy weather. Well secluded from the other shepherds huts and cottages, but amazing views. Location was easy to get to and convenient to visit so many nearby places, including Rough Tor which we could see from the window. Thank you so much for a really great and much needed holiday.

A lovely little place to stay in a perfect location for exploring this part of Cornwall. Very private and peaceful. The hot tub was just what we needed after lots of walking! Everything was spotlessly clean and we had everything we needed for our week away. The cake and milk on arrival was much appreciated.

Other than that we were really impressed with the Shepherd Cottage facilities including Wi-Fi , televisions and especially the hot tub. The owners, if we saw them, were always cheerful and ready for a chat.

A good holiday is when it comes to the end you desperately want it to continue. This was certainly the case with our stay in the hut, everything about it was wonderful. Warm and cosy, welcoming every time we arrived back from trips, inside we had everything we needed, outside was a glorious hot tub and wonderful views. Absolutely first class.

Lilac was the perfect stay for our honeymoon! The hot tub and robes added that extra luxurious feel to our stay. We relaxed, took in the views and enjoyed Exploring north Cornwall. Fantastic place to celebrate my 50th. Accommodation was clean. It has everything you need. Hot tub was amazing, brilliant firepit. Views are lovely. So peaceful, really private. The brewery nearby was also great. Perfect holiday.

This was an amazing stay the owners are fantastic didnt rush us on our checkout day and the room was spotless. I cannot speak highly enough of this getaway and the views were incredible. My wife and I will definitely be returning soon!

What a beautiful, well equipped, clean and comfy Shepherds Hut. I cannot fault this beautiful place and the effort the owners have gone to making it comfortable and homely. The views of the patchwork countryside are amazing and so too is the view of the night sky free from light pollution!! As for the hot tub well that was just the icing on the cakRead moree!! We had a wonderful stay at Lilac Shepherds Hut. Very private with beautiful views. We especially loved the hot tub in the evenings. My dog Rosie loved running around in the field next to us. Inside has been tastefully done and has thought of everything you need for your stay. Just want to thank Liz for a lovely stay and we will definitely be back.

Wow!! Absolutely stunning! A beautiful setting, I loved sitting out every morning with my coffee enjoying the tranquility! The hut is beautifully decorated and really spacious, it had everything we needed, even little doggie treats . Everywhere was clean, the hot tub was fresh and we enjoyed many nights looking at the stars.

Shepherds hut was spotless. Cant fault the kitchen, lounge, bedroom or bathroom. I could happily live there. Milk, tea and coffee provided for a cuppa on arrival.
