Red Rums Retreat was a wonderful place to relax and take in the view of the bay. Having the Old Pointhouse 100m away was great, Just check the opening days when not in high season. We were there when the spring tides were happening, so when it was coming in we were there only people out there, so peaceful. What they have done with an old Horse lorrRead morey is amazing you have everything you need in such a small space. Hide

We had a perfect stay at red rums retreat. Lots of beautiful bays and beaches near by to visit with your dogs . The accommodation is cosy but has everything you need. Lovely log burner to keep warm .

The most comfortable lorry I have ever slept in. Beautifully laid out and well equipped. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in a lovely, quiet location. Lots of walking on the doorstep and a pub next door, what more do you need?

Red Rums Retreat is fantastic. Well equipped with everything you could need. Comfortable, well designed and a nice place to spend a week. Great views over Angle bay. My two dogs thoroughly enjoyed their stay and I enjoyed the outdoor bath. The kitchen has everything you could need and the bedroom is brilliant, I loved sleeping in the cab of the horRead morese box and the panoramic views from bed were great for watching the epic the thunderstorm on our first night. This is a fabulous, quirky place to stay, with a well thought out design and features. It was very comfortable and felt surprisingly spacious (except for the loo which is a bit of a squeeze!). We did some coastal walks and visited Bosherston Lakes/Stackpole Walled Garden and Pembroke - enjoyed rowing round the castle. Had a delicious meal at the OlRead mored Point House. Hide

Red Rum Retreat was everything we hoped for. We immediately felt at home. The accommodation is surprisingly spacious, with everything we needed. The bed was the comfiest we had ever slept in. The outlook is incredible, the views are simply beautiful. The coastal pathway is just outside the property with the added bonus of Old Point House and cafe MRead moreor just a stones throw away. The lorry is in an excellent location on the West Angle bay, with the Old Point House serving food just a short walk away. We were able to visit Pembroke Castle, Tenby and Oakwood Theme Park easily by car, as well as walking part of the Pembrokeshire Coast Trail which can be joined on foot just yards from the lorry. What a find! Me partner, dog and I loved this van so much and we didn't want to leave. Everything was perfect and cooking was as easy as it would be home, comfy bed great shower. Pub 30 seconds away and another in Angle village (thats a bit cheaper) Spectacular views across the bay and the coastal path is literally on the door step. A beautiful walRead morek to West Angle beach with white sands, blue sea and rock pooling. Completely unspoilt landscape. Love, love, love it. We definitely hope to be back! Hide

Wow! What a fabulous place. We had the most amazing time, completely relaxed, with everything provided to make our stay as comfortable as ever. Accommodation was spotless, delightfully quirky, spacious, and the location was simply stunning. The accommodation was perfect for one man and his dog. So lovely, sited so perfectly in Angle, overlooking the estuary, that for one day I just spent it at the Retreat. We had a fabulous stay, the views and remote location were ideal especially with the nice weather we got. Our wee dog loved the coastal walk and nearby beaches. The cottage had everything you needed but we decided to eat out at the point house and Wavecrest (both were delicious however we didnt realise the old point house closed quite early). ThereRead more was plenty to explore near by (lily ponds and freshwater west were my faves). We would definitely make this a regular getaway if we stayed closer. Hide

If you want remote peace and quiet with views to die for then this is it. You like sailing and messing on the sea then this is the place. Wagon has been done beautifully and is so homely and cosy. Stunning views across the bay. We will definitely be back. Cant fault anything as everything was catered for. 10 out of 10 for wagon. Amazing place.
